Dalton grew up outside of Austin, Texas, and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. While in school, he played college baseball as a pitcher. Upon graduating from Indiana University in 2020, Dalton attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he graduated in 2023.

While in school Dalton worked for two law firms focusing on litigation, Torres Law Firm and Hensley Legal Group.  After graduating and passing the bar Dalton moved to Colorado and joined Baker Law Group, PLLC.  Dalton specializes in litigation involving real estate, breach of contract, landlord-tenant law, foreclosures, and related areas.  Dalton is licensed to practice law in both Indiana and Colorado.

Outside of practicing law, Dalton enjoys training and coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a martial art in which he is a Brown Belt, playing chess, and taking his German Shepard hiking.

Carl grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and attended the University of Dallas, where he majored in Economics. While in undergraduate school, Carl had the opportunity to study abroad near Rome, Italy, which initiated a lifelong passion for travel. After college, Carl was accepted to Washburn University of Law under the Shamberg Scholar program, receiving a small stipend to attend law school there.

During his first summer of law school, Carl joined a plaintiff’s workers compensation practice, the Cooper Law Office, as a law clerk. While in law school, he received Top Paper honors in three separate courses for his exceptional research and legal writing abilities. After graduation, he was a practicing attorney for several years in that same firm, representing injured workers all across Kansas. He helped set a new legal precedent for injured workers with the Kansas Court of Appeals after the legislature passed a new standard for proving injuries.

After being smitten by the mountains, Carl sought to expand his practice areas and moved to Denver in August of 2021. He first began working for Watson & Associates, a firm that assists contractors that have contracts or bids in the federal government’s bid procurement process, writing briefs for the Federal Court of Appeals.

Then, he began working for Furtado Law PC, assisting homeowners and commercial property owners with insurance bad faith cases in federal court, wherein insurers had unreasonably delayed or denied insurance claims. He also represented contractors and property owners regarding construction defect claims in that firm.

At Baker Law Group, PLLC, Carl specializes in litigation involving real estate, business, breach of contract, construction defect issues, mechanic’s liens, and related areas. Outside of practicing law, Carl enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, camping, attending concerts, and spending time at home with his partner, cat, and dog.
